The new name originated during a rehearsal of Talking Heads' “Psycho Killer”. Unable to recall the French portions sung in the original (e.g., Qu'est-ce que c'est?), they instead started shouting any foreign-language words they could remember, including the title of the popular 1970s memory board game Hūsker Dū? (the phrase meaning "do you remember?" in Danish and Norwegian). The name stuck, and they added heavy metal umlauts to it.

By purchasing, downloading, installing, or otherwise handling this font, you accept the terms of this agreement between Luke Twyman (wvnl) and the licensee (you). If you do not accept the terms, you can not use this font.
You are granted license to install the font files and use this font in your work (personal & commercial). Ownership of the font remains with wvnl.
This font license is sold via a "pay what you can" honour system, with a recommended price. This is designed to make it more accessible for students, low-income individuals and not-for-profits while still supporting wvnl. There are no strict price rules, you are free to choose a price, however - I ask established companies, those producing large commercial work or those with teams of 5+ to please pay the full recommended price or greater.
This licence permits use for both individuals and teams. There are no strict limitations for a team size — the number of devices, web domains or servers that the font is installed on — or any webpage view limitations.
